A little bit of summer in the middle of winter:
Southern style fried chicken
New England Baked beans(in the crockpot..so yummy!)
Georgia Cracker Salad...this is so easy to make and it sounds weird..but it's soooo goood!
Georgia Cracker Salad(A Paula Deen Recipe)
1 sleeve of Saltine crackers crushed into a bowl
Add 1-2 seeded, chopped tomatoes
Add some chopped grean onions
2 hardboiled eggs
Add enough mayonaise to make you happy (-:

Sunday afternoon
I'm catching up on some knitting...
D and the boys are outside playing in the snow, while I whip up a favorite for supper. Meatloaf(my special recipe they love it!), buttery, creamy mashed potatoes, and peas. For dessert-a rustic cranberry pie made in my cast iron skillet baked in the oven. After we eat, it's time for games-we are loving Ticket to Ride so that's probably the game of choice tonight. A perfect Sunday afternoon...
