Building day

Yesterday, after church we had a wonderful new friend, Ron come over and help us start to build the chicken coop.  Well, really he designed it and Darryl and the boys did what he told them to do.  Darryl, I believe, learned alot.  They all seemed to have a great time and the weather couldn't be more perfect.  We are so grateful that he gave up some of his time to teach Darryl and the boys about construction as well as hunting tips for deer.  The boys got to use a screw gun for the first time, which they were soooo excited about and they loved to be included in the building process.  Ron really allowed them to help and they felt like such big boys!  By next weekend it should be done(sans painting) and after we build a run for the chicks they will be moving into there permanantly.
